Places of Calm

I think about what it woud be like to live in a large city.  I also think about living at the beach.  I think only about the lovely parts of these places.  I know that there would be problems, but why dream about problems?  This is the source of my images.

My mixed media artwork is created from recycled papers.  I've worked in this style for quite a while.  It evolved slowly over time, from crumpled up pieces under glass, to flatter pieces on canvas.  

Making art is very satisfying.  I love making my work from recycled materials.
