Poured Paint

This show is all about the process of painting. In making these mostly
‘poured paintings’ I used acrylic paint, walnut ink, stencils, and paint
scrapers. The acrylic paints were thinned, poured over and then pulled across
either the canvas surface or the stencil with a large paint scraper. No  brushes were used. I willingly relinquished the control that a brush offers, instead giving into the chance emergence of form.
