Rooted in Suspension is a joint exhibition by multi-media artists, Becca Craig and Jennifer Vessells. Conclude you own thoughts on their demonstration, but also celebrate the collaborative effort of these two artists relating naturally in an experience.
Vessells and Craig branch through the static in their bodies of work. Viewers and figures become suspended in spaces that exist apart from everyday reality. Seeking an obscure truth in a world of rules and laws, these artists turn to their medium for a mode of explanation.
Intangible moments of the everyday are experienced visually in a multi-dimensional journey through layered spaces rich in texture. Where adaptation can and should naturally occur, it organically does. This formula is impressed upon each inlay of physical form and scene as they manipulate to adjust. Pieces capture the symbiotic relationship between figures and the worlds they embody, allowing for an interaction with the viewer in these suspended moments of contemplation.
A generous network of interconnectivity invites participation in the underlying current of the organic and infinite; it filters and reaches through space and time freely, branching out in a spread of possibility.
