Georgia O’Keeffe said “Since I cannot sing, I paint.” I put that quote on my mirror to remind me to keep painting. I discover a certain kind of song that begins in the process of drawing. I love the dynamic that is created and how a simple line becomes alive like a song that begins and begins again. Surprising changes occur when line, color and form start to dance with each other.
