The flowers motifs in my work are treated as metaphors for gifts, hopes and prayers. I combined painting, print and sculpture into the creation of her body of work. My work is always a homage and it’s my way of recording and re-telling the events that have touched me and to bring the exposure and my experiences in my upbringings of growing up in Malaysia; the flora, the verdant forests and the tropical gardens in which I recreate in my mind through my work. I use the medium to respond to the events and the people that have passed through my life through creating intense layers of images and motifs and vivid colors in my work.
Garden of Eden
MUSE Gallery will be closed from March 13th through March 31st
We are concerned about the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the health of our patrons, visitors and the members of our cooperative gallery.
This is a challenging time in our community and we want to continue to inspire and share the power of art with our exhibitions.
Our exhibition continues to be open by appointment.
