Since I have been making art, two constants are sketching and making art to send through the mail. I like using found images and changing their context. Sometimes elements in my postcards stimulate me to make larger images. This show is also influenced by Wade Guyton, who produces painterly canvases using a computer and large printer. This show concentrates on making images using non-traditional art media. I also enjoy finding low tech solutions to form images, therefore not using a 48” wide printer like Guyton, but using t-shirt transfers in multiples and manipulating them.
