My upcoming show will display my renewed interest in abstraction, with rich, bold colors and abrupt contrasts, defined by arbitrary shapes moving against or within flat/deep backgrounds. In the compositions I unify decorative elements joined with organic and geometric shapes. I have combined a disciplined control with areas of florid color, harsh outlines, unexpected depths and flattened spaces.
