As the boundary between any two parties is ever-changing and permeable so went the building of our show. We tried working directly on one another’s work, assigning projects to the other, vetoing, critiquing, and even laying bare our fears and feelings about the other. Eventually we found the “container” of our show to be a playful, conversation-like responses to the other’s work. We would spit ball ideas as to where a project could go. When we laughed or were energized by an idea, it took.
