Founded in 1977, Muse Gallery is a venue through which professional artists exhibit in a variety of mediums and styles, and is unique in that it primarily features solo shows of members' work.

Applicants for membership must submit a current resume, application, 10-20 clearly marked slides or a CD with 10 ­ 20 digital images and an identification sheet, or a link to a website, and a SASE for return of materials.

Members are expected to attend monthly meetings, gallery sit once or twice a month, and pay monthly dues. There is an initiation fee of $250.00 for new members.

• Solo Show every 18 to 24 months
• Participation in all outside exhibitions representing the gallery.
• Artist Book in gallery

Muse also offers associate status to former members and to artists living outside a 75-mile radius of Philadelphia.

The MUSE Gallery is located in the heart of Old City, Philadelphia's Art Community, at 52 North 2nd Street, between Arch and Market Streets.
